The victim’s mother told that she was taken to a house in New Amsterdam, Berbis, where some people were already present. After this, the player took him to the upper room and forcefully did wrong with him.
Allegations of negligence in investigation
The victim’s mother says that the next day she lodged a complaint with the police and medical examination was also conducted. He alleged that an attempt was made to suppress and compromise the case on behalf of the cricketer’s family.
He also told that the accused himself surrendered to the police. He reached the police station with his father and was released on bail.

When a response was sought from the Cricket West Indies (CWI) in this whole matter, the chairman of the board, Dr. Kishore Shalo, said that he was not aware of the matter. He gave the statement, “Cricket West Indies are not aware of the circumstances of the case, so we cannot comment on it.”
