Allah Ghazanfar represented Afghanistan in the Under-19 Asia Cup 2024 and also impressed in the Abu-Dhabi T10 League.

Mumbai Indians bought 18-year-old Afghanistan spinner Allah Ghazanfar for Rs 4.80 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Ghazanfar was a part of Kolkata Knight Riders last season, but could not play a single match. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders also showed interest in buying him in the mega auction, but in the end Mumbai won.

Recently Allah Ghazanfar has been making a lot of headlines on social media. Actually Ghazanfar has played four big matches in the last three days. He represented Afghanistan in the Under-19 Asia Cup 2024 and also impressed in the Abu-Dhabi T10 League.

Allah Ghazanfar played matches against these teams in three days

Afghanistan’s spinner Allah Ghazanfar played against Bangladesh in the Under-19 Asia Cup in Dubai on the morning of 29 November. He then joined Team Abu Dhabi in the T10 League on 30 November, where he took one wicket for 10 runs in two overs as the team won the match against Northern Warriors by 8 wickets.

Allah Ghazanfar then rejoined the Afghanistan team on the morning of 1 December and played the match against Sri Lanka. In the evening of the same day, he joined Team Abu Dhabi and played an eliminator match against Delhi Bulls.

Had a great performance in the Emerging Asia Cup

Allah Ghazanfar is 6 feet and 2 inches tall, he is known for producing good bounce and sharp turn, which can prove fatal against any team. He played a big role in Afghanistan A’s historic victory in the ACC Emerging Asia Cup T20 held in Oman last month. He had a brilliant performance of 2/10 in the semi-final match against India A, due to which the team reached the final. Then Afghanistan captured its first title by defeating Sri Lanka-A in the final.
