Delhi: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star bowler R Ashwin has taken a big decision between IPL 2025 season. Ashwin has said that he will no longer review any match of Chennai Super Kings in this season. He has taken this decision after a recent controversy, which stood with his YouTube channel.
What is the matter?
Actually, in a video on Ashwin’s YouTube channel, the panelist raised questions about the selection of Chennai team. Especially there was a discussion about the selection of left -arm spinner Noor Ahmed, who have taken 10 wickets so far this season and he is one of the most wicket -taking bowlers.
Controversy increased after Fleming’s statement
His head coach Stephen Fleming was asked at the press conference after CSK losing 25 runs against Delhi Capitals (DC) whether the team’s criticism on Ashwin’s YouTube channel could spoil the atmosphere of the dressing room? On this, Fleming said that he did not even know that Ashwin has a YouTube channel and he does not follow such things. His statement was very much discussed on social media.
Ashwin cleaned, will not cover CSK match cover
After this controversy, Ashwin issued a statement, in which he made it clear that he would no longer analyze the remaining matches of CSK. He said, “In view of the conversation on our show last week, we have decided that this season will not prequire or review any match match.
Ashwin also told that he thanks the audience who understand the spirit of the show and the coverage of the matches of the rest of the team will continue as before.
