Gt’s innings

Gujarat started a good start. Captain Shubman Gill scored 60 runs in 38 balls, while Sai Sudarshan took the score forward by adding 37 runs. But the middle order stumbled slightly. Washington Sundar, Jose Butler and Sherfen Rutherford could not do much. Shahrukh Khan scored 16 not out and Rashid Khan also added 4 runs in the last over. Gujarat scored 180 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Shardul Thakur was the most successful bowler for Lucknow, who took 3 wickets. Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan also took one wicket each.

Lsg’s innings

Lucknow started a bit slow, when captain Rishabh Pant was dismissed for 21 runs. But Aidan Markram scored 58 runs in 31 balls against the new ball and brought the team to a strong position. Then Nicholas Puran, who came on the field, changed the attitude of the match. Puran hit 61 runs in just 34 balls and blown the GT bowlers.

After Puran’s dismissal, when the match was seen to be a little trapped, Abdul Samad and Ayush Badoni did not hurry. Both batted wisely and won the team in 19.3 overs. This victory of LSG was the result of a balanced performance of the entire team. Famous for GT, Krishna took two wickets, but the rest of the bowlers could not have any special impact.

With this victory, LSG registered another important win in the tournament and finished third in 6 matches with 8 points. At the same time, this was the second defeat of GT, but the team still holds the second place in Talika with 4 wins.
