BCCI fined Akshar Patel millions: Cricketer Hindi

BCCI fined the letter because of this

According to the BCCI press release, “Delhi Capitates captain Akshar Patel has been fined as his team maintained a slow over-rate during the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match number 29 against Mumbai Indians at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.”

In the release, it is further written, “Since it was the first crime of his team under Article 2.22 of the IPL code of conduct, which is related to minimum over-perpetal offenses, Patel was fined Rs 12 lakh.”

Delhi Capitals have lost the number-1 crown in the IPL 2025 points table with this defeat. The team is now at number two under the Gujarat Titans in the team points table. Now Delhi would like to return by winning again in the next match.

Talking about the match, after losing the toss, Mumbai Indians came out to bat first and scored 205 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs on the basis of Tilak Verma’s half -century. Apart from Tilak, Suryakumar Yadav scored 40 and Ricelton scored 41 runs. At the same time, Naman Dhir came to the end and scored 38 runs off 17 balls.

Chasing this score, Karun Nair scored 89 runs off 40 balls for Delhi Capitals with the help of 12 fours and 5 sixes, but Nair did not meet other batsmen, due to which his team lost the match.
