Peterson expressed disappointment over England player Harry Brooke’s withdrawal from IPL 2025 for personal reasons. Due to this decision, Brooke also had to bear the ban for two seasons. However, he was later made the captain of England’s ODI and T20 team. Peterson said, “We were disappointed that he did not come, but it was his personal decision. Now he has a big responsibility work.”
Desire to become coach of England team
Peterson has clearly stated that if he gets a chance, he would like to contribute to any role in the England cricket team. He has also informed the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) about this.
