Delhi: Former Mumbai Indians (Mi) coach and veteran wicketkeeper batsman Mark Boucher has seen Rohit Sharma closely. Even though Rohit has not played any big innings in IPL 2025 yet, Boucher is confident that something special will be seen soon. Boucher believes that Rohit is going to play a big innings soon.
Rohit Sharma hit some strong sixes in the match between Mumbai Indians (Mi) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Wankhede Stadium, which impressed the boucher a lot.
Boucher said in a conversation with Geographstar, “Rohit Sharma took the task of attacking the bowlers himself. We saw his old-style big sixes. I liked his attitude. He put pressure on the bowlers and scoring opportunities. He was close to 30 runs, a big innings is coming soon. He is coming again.”
Big comment on Hardik Pandya too
While Rohit is looking for a big innings, captain Hardik Pandya is seen returning to the rhythm with both bat and ball. Against Hyderabad, he played a rage of 21 runs in 9 balls and also took wickets in the middle overs.
Boucher said, “Hardik Pandya is one of the best all -rounders in the world. He is taking wickets in difficult overs and his confidence is seen in his batting. He is coming and finishing the match.”
