It is noteworthy that today, on Saturday, September 28, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jai Shah has shared a post on his official X account. Money will rain on players

Let us tell you that Jay Shah has announced an unprecedented change in the match fees of the players. Now, apart from the contract amount from the franchise, the players playing IPL will also get Rs 7.5 lakh separately as match fee for playing each match. Also, if a player plays all the league matches of IPL, he will be given a separate amount of Rs 1 crore 5 lakh.

But it is worth noting here that the board has given guidelines to create a separate match fee fund of Rs 12.60 crore for each team. The cricket world is praising this unprecedented decision of BCCI.

These rules may be announced in IPL retention

Let us tell you that if we believe the media reports of ESPN Cricinfo regarding the retention rules in the upcoming IPL season, then each franchise will be able to retain a maximum of five players. Apart from this, each franchise will be allowed to use 1 Right to Match Card (RTM). It remains to be seen what the Governing Council of IPL announces regarding the retention rules.
