Delhi: Rajasthan Royals (RR) were accused of match fixing after suffering two runs against the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). This charge was made by Jaideep Bihani, convenor of the Temporary Committee of Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA). But Rajasthan Royals have completely rejected all these allegations.
Rajasthan Royals clarified
A senior officer of Rajasthan Royals, Deep Roy, has described these allegations as “false, baseless and devoid of evidence”. The team has clearly stated that such statements are not only misleading, but also harm the credibility of the team and the dignity of cricket.
Complaint sent to Chief Minister and Sports Minister
Taking this matter seriously, Rajasthan has also sent an official complaint letter to Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Sports Minister and Sports Secretary. The team has demanded that strict action should be taken against Jaideep Bihani, as they have tried to tarnish the image of the team without any evidence.

Bihani raised questions on the role of RCA
Jaideep Bihani says that RCA was not included in the IPL events, due to which they are angry. He said that earlier BCCI had sent a letter to RCA, but later the Zilla Parishad was given full control. He argues that the absence of MOU (MoU) should not be an excuse, because still RR is paying the Zilla Parishad for every match.
Rajasthan’s playoff hopes almost over
The performance of Rajasthan Royals so far this season has been very poor. The team has lost six of its eight matches and is in eighth place in the points table. However, on the basis of net run rate, he is ahead of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The possibility of reaching the playoffs is very less and now winning all the remaining matches has become necessary for the team.
Next match against RCB
The next match of Rajasthan Royals is against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), which will be played on their home ground. In this important match, the team will have to face the absence of its captain Sanju Samson, who are out due to injury.
