Shubman Gill’s sudden absence from the ground created concern among the fans. But, after the match, Gill himself clarified the reason. He said after the match, “My back felt a slight tightness and since we have to play the next match in a few days, Physio decided not to take any risk.”

Gujarat Titans will now face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 2 after losing by eight wickets against Rajasthan Royals.
