Delhi: Pesar Haris Rauf of the Pakistan cricket team has termed the proposal for using the same ball in ODI international cricket in the interest of fast bowlers after 25 overs. He believes that this change will give the bowlers a chance to return through reverse swing and bring balance in the game.
Rauf said in an interview to a channel, “This proposal is very good. Earlier, when there was a game with a 25 -over old ball, it was difficult for the batsmen to score. Now the ball remains new for a long time and the batting has become easy. If the ICC is thinking of returning the old ball, then it is a matter of relief for the fast bowlers.”
Rauf also spoke on the difficulties of the fast bowlers in the current cricket atmosphere. He said, “Fast bowlers around the world are struggling. The boundaries are small, there is a demand for high -score matches, and the audience wants to see the same. Now it seems as if the bowlers have only their spikes left. They should also be removed.”

Regarding the pitch, Haris Rauf said that he does not rely on the condition of the pitch before the match. He said, “The reality of the pitch comes out only after throwing the first over. Sometimes the pitch looks green, but it does not happen. We know how to play according to the situation. The boundary is small and high scoring matches will continue in future also.”
