Solanki praised Gill
Former England cricketer Solanki told the media during the team practice in Mumbai, “As far as the captaincy is concerned, Shubman has been well molded. Sometimes when a player becomes a captain, there is a worry that his game may not be spoiled. But, nothing happened to Shubman. He has done the responsibility well and proved himself.”
Solanki also praised the opening pair of Gill and B Sai Sudarshan. He said, “The partnership of both has been amazing and their hard work is behind it. Both the players are the same, both are preparing for the match with great patience.
B Sai Sudarshan is also in tremendous form this season. He has scored 504 runs in 10 matches with an average of 50.40 and a strike rate of 154.12, including five fifty.
