Delhi: Team India’s young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal now wants to play domestic cricket for Mumbai again. About a month ago, he decided to leave the Mumbai team and asked for NOC i.e. NOC to go to Goa team. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) also gave him this NOC. But, now Jaiswal has again requested MCA that he wants to play for Mumbai this season.

Yashasvi wrote a return to MCA

Left -handed batsman Jaiswal wrote a letter to MCA in April seeking permission to play for Goa and then his request was also approved. In his mail, Jaiswal said, ‘I request you to take back my NOC because at present my family has left the plan to settle in Goa. I have sent this NOC neither to BCCI nor to Goa Cricket Board. So I want me to be allowed to play for Mumbai.

The special thing is that the Goa Cricket Board offered Yashasvi to make Yashasvi the captain of his team. In April, Jaiswal himself told that Goa gave him a big opportunity and also entrusted the responsibility of captaining the team. Then he had said that his first focus will be to perform well for Team India and whenever he is not on national duty, he will play for Goa. It was a big chance for his career and he approved it.

If we talk about Jaiswal’s Test career, then his start has been very good. He scored a century and two half-centuries in the previous border-gavaskar trophy against Australia and he was among the most successful batsmen in India. In this series, the opener scored a total of 391 runs in five Tests at an average of 43.44. Jaiswal had earlier said that he had decided to change the team due to the chance of captaincy with Goa. But, now he has decided to return to Mumbai again due to family reasons.
