Sanju was hurt while batting during the match against Delhi Capitals and he retired after scoring 31 runs. Due to injury, Sanju could not play matches against Lucknow Super Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.
