According to reports, Mitchell Owen was scheduled to join PBKS only after playing full match for Babar Azam -led Peshawar Jalami in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). However, the 23 -year -old left PSL in the middle of the season and has come to India to be a part of PBKs.

Let me tell you, due to cross -border tension between India and Pakistan, IPL and PSL were stopped in the middle and now both the tournament is going to resume on 17 May.

Australian player Mitchell Owen made a lot of headlines with his great performance in Big Bash League 2024-25. Owen helped Hobart Harikens win the first BBL title by scoring a century off 39 balls in the final.

Owen, scoring 108 runs with the help of 6 fours and 11 sixes off 42 balls, helped Harikens chase 183 runs with 35 balls remaining. He scored 531 runs in 21 innings of 24 matches in the season. Owen scored a strike rate of 192.45 in seven innings for Peshawar Jalami in the Pakistan Super League and 102 runs at an average of 14.57.
