He smashed 22 runs in the first over, beating Punjab Kings (PBKS) fast bowler Arshdeep Singh. This is the new record of the highest run by any bowler of Punjab Kings in IPL history by any bowler of Punjab Kings. Earlier, this record was in 2014 by Glenn Maxwell, who scored 20 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), in which all runs were scored by Chris Gayle.
