Iyer also told that after the break, new energy has come in the team. He said, “When we returned after a long break, all the players were in excitement. We also needed this break. The team came together on the field and showed the right mindset to win, no matter what the situation was.”
Told the need to learn from spinners
He admitted that it was difficult to score against the spinners of the opposition team. Iyer said, “We had a lot of difficulty in scoring runs against his spinners. It is a big lesson that how to stay in front of spin bowling. But from this match we also showed that we can turn the dice of the match from any situation.”
