Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) may get a major setback before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 playoffs. The team’s star opener Phil can be out of the important matches of the Salt Playoffs. Salt did not play the last two matches of RCB against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals (DC), as they had high fever.
However, now his health is better and RCB has made it to the playoffs with Gujarat Titans (GT), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (Mi), but now a new reason has come out, due to which the salt can not playoffs.
According to ESPNCRICINFO report, Phil can be out of the Salt Playoff, as her long-term girlfriend AB McCalevan is going to give birth to a child soon. The couple is simultaneously since 2020. AB specializes in social media marketing, content strategy and business consulting.
28 -year -old English batsman Phil Sold has performed brilliantly for RCB this season. He has scored 239 runs in 9 matches so far. During this time, his average is 26.56 and the strike rate is 168.31.
ACB, currently in the points table, is in second place and has 17 points. If they win both matches against SRH and LSG, then they are sure to stay in the top-2. However, even if they win just one match, it depends on the performance of GT and PBKS whether the RCB will be in the top-2 or not. But, if RCB loses both matches, they will be out of the top-2.
