Klassen spoke on his brilliant innings
After the innings, Klassen said in a mid-inning interview that he may not score runs throughout the season, but never compromised on his process. He said, “It looks great. This season has been very disappointing for me so far. But, I maintained confidence in my process and finally got back.
Talking about his game plan on the new pitch, Klassen said, “I was thinking of killing every ball for a six, and perhaps this was my biggest mistake in this season. A spell of Sunil Naren was quite difficult, but I tried to improve. It is a little difficult to play the hard length balls.”
He further said, “I am a situation player. This is the plan in the dugout. If the wicket falls after or at the end, then I come. But, if the first wicket falls, then I do not come. Then I do not come. It is just a number for me, everything depends on the team’s position.”
