Delhi: In the last league match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 6 wickets and entered the top-2 in the playoffs. The match was played on 27 May at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Lucknow, batting first, scored 227 runs for 3 wickets. Captain Rishabh Pant scored a century while batting brilliantly.
In response, RCB achieved a target of 228 runs in 18.4 overs. Virat Kohli scored 54 runs in 30 balls, but Jitesh Sharma became the real hero, who hit 85 runs in just 33 balls. Mayank Agarwal also won the team while scoring 41 runs.
After this victory, RCB got 19 points in 14 matches and now the team will play against Punjab Kings in qualifier 1 on 29 May. Also, RCB IPL has become the first team of history, which has not lost a single match.

After the match, Jitesh Sharma was voted ‘Player of the Match’. In the presentation, he said that his focus was only on taking the match to the last. Jitesh said, “When Virat Bhai was out, I thought that now Dinesh Bhaiya always says that I have the skill that I can win the team in any difficult situation.
