Medium -order strength

Veteran Joe Root will bat at number three, while captain Brook will land at number four. Wicketkeeper-batsman Jose Butler will play at number five. After this, Jacob Bethel and Will Jacks have been given the responsibility of handling the middle and lower order. Jacx has been given the role of a finisher and he can also bowl some over.
