Nasir Hussain: Big statement on Dinesh Karthik.

Nasir Hussain said that if the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the IPL 2025 title, it would be difficult for Dinesh Karthik to handle! Karthik is doing a great job as RCB’s batting mentor this season. He retired from IPL last season, but was appointed before the 2025 auction. His advice at the auction played a big role in strengthening the RCB team.

RCB made it to the finals by winning a qualifier 1 against Punjab Kings, and Karthik’s advice contributed to it. In Sky Sports Podcast, Nasir Hussain, who works in the commentary box with Karthik, laughed and said that if the RCB wins the title, it would be impossible to withstand Karthik! Michael Atherton also quipped that Karthik may stand at the forefront of the trophy ceremony after the 2012 Champions League final like John Terry, holding the trophy with Virat Kohli!

Hussain jokingly said, “The RCB has reached the finals. If they wins, no one will be able to stop DK. First as a season coach/mentor, and won the title!” Attarton added laughing, “That is a little difficult anyway, now it will be doubled. Like John Terry, RCB’s trophy will be at the forefront of the ceremony, standing with Virat for the trophy!”

Dinesh Karthik about being a part of RCB?

Karthik said that being a part of RCB is very special for him. He said that his biggest inspiration was to win the first IPL title for the franchise. “Being a part of RCB is a special feeling. Because of the kind of cricket we play, our fans, and the journey of this franchise, which has been full of ups and downs.

Karthik further said that, but the trophy has not yet reached Bangalore. If I can be a part of that journey, why not? The same question was in my mind. I know how close we came as a player. Now there is another chance as a coach.
