Rinku Singh engaged to Lok Sabha MP Priya Saroj, blessed at Bulandshahr temple

Delhi: India and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star batsman Rinku Singh got engaged to Samajwadi Party (SP) Lok Sabha MP Priya Saroj. This special ceremony was held at a five-star hotel in Lucknow, in which many well-known personalities of politics and cinema attended.

The ceremony was attended by SP National President Akhilesh Yadav, BCCI vice -president Rajiv Shukla and actress and MP Jaya Bachchan. Rajiv Shukla said on this occasion, “This is a great pair. Both are performing brilliantly in their respective fields. We hope that this relationship will be full of happiness throughout his life.”

Marriage will be held in Varanasi on 18 November

Rinku and Priya’s wedding will be held on 18 November at the prestigious Taj Hotel in Varanasi. According to sources close to the family, the two have known each other for the last one year. Friendship gradually turned into love and after the consent of the two families, the relationship was decided.

Priya Saroj is a Samajwadi Party MP from Machilishahar (Jaunpur). He has studied law from Amity University, Noida. She is the daughter of former MP and MLA Stormi Saroj, who has been a public representative from Kerakat (Jaunpur), Saidpur (Ghazipur) and Machilishahar.

27 -year -old Rinku Singh has played 2 ODIs and 33 T20 international matches for India. He is an important part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Kolkata Knight Riders. He is considered a major finisher of India.

Prior to the engagement, Rinku along with his family reached the Chaudra Vichitra Devi temple located in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh and took blessings before marriage.
