Delhi: Former veteran wicketkeeper batsman and great captain of the Indian team Mahendra Singh Dhoni was included in the Hall of Fame of the International Cricket Council (ICC) on 9 June 2025. Cricket giants from all over the world have greeted him on this achievement.
Former Australian opener and current Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) coach Justin Langer praised Dhoni. In a video released by the ICC, Langer said that Dhoni is ‘all -time great’ and every captain from all over the world wishes to be like him. He said that Dhoni is a unique captain, leader and human being. This is Dhoni’s specialty, which makes him different.
Langer also appreciated Dhoni’s ‘Finisher’ role. He said that as long as Dhoni is at the crease, the match does not end. Dhoni has proved many times in his long international career that he has the ability to turn the match in the last overs.
