According to a report in Times of India, franchise mentor Zaheer Khan and coach Justin Langer have analyzed the statistics of KL Rahul. The report said that when Rahul bats for a long time, the team often faces defeat because his strike rate is not according to the match situation, which is slow. With the impact player rule, teams are scoring faster and it can be risky for a batsman to take too much time in the top order.

The report also said that LSG has not ruled out bidding again on KL Rahul. In the last three seasons, Rahul has scored 1410 runs and his strike rate has been 130.65. He also scored two centuries in the 2022 IPL season.

At the same time, according to sources, the management feels that Mayank Yadav and Ravi Bishnoi are important players for the future of the franchise, who can surprise with their performance.

Awaiting Delhi Capitals’ decision on Rishabh Pant

Lucknow franchise includes star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant in its team and for this they are waiting for the decision of Delhi Capitals (DC). Now it remains to be seen whether Pant is able to become a part of LSG or not.
