The performance of India A batsmen was disappointing in both the matches. In this match, Australia A won the toss and chose to bowl, which proved to be a right decision. The visiting team was reduced to just 161 runs in the first innings. In response, Australia A scored 223 runs and took a lead of 62 runs. Even in the second innings, the Indian batsmen could not do anything special and the entire team could score only 229 runs, giving Australia A a target of 168 runs to win.
