While playing against United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the Under-19 Asia Cup, this Indian opener impressed everyone with his explosive batting. Vaibhav expressed his intentions by hitting a six on the very first ball and after that he took a dig at the UAE bowlers.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi got a chance to play the second over and he hit a long six while slog sweeping the ball of Ali Asgar. After this, he hit two more long sixes in Aayan Khan’s over. Vaibhav displayed his skills brilliantly by completing his half-century in just 32 balls.

Although Vaibhav is only 13 years old, he showed his power by hitting long sixes of up to 80-90 meters. Even in the fourth over, Vaibhav created pressure on the bowlers by playing big shots. Even the commentators were stunned after seeing his batting.

After poor performance in the last two matches, this innings against UAE was very important for Vaibhav. He was able to score only 1 run against Pakistan and 23 runs against Japan, but this innings proved his ability. Rajasthan Royals (RR) bought him for Rs 1.1 crore in the IPL 2025 auction. If Vaibhav continues to play like this, he can be seen opening in the IPL with Yashasvi Jaiswal.
