Delhi: A matter of concern came to light for the Indian team on the second day of the second Test against Australia. During the day’s play, India’s leading fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah suffered severe pain in the groin, due to which he lay down on the field. This incident happened in the 20th over of his spell, after which doctors had to come and treat him.

Rohit-Gambhir’s worries may increase
However, after some time Bumrah returned to bowling and played an important role for Team India. But, it is a matter of concern for Rohit and Gambhir that if Bumrah’s injury becomes serious, then Team India may suffer a big loss in the next three matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Despite being injured, Bumrah took 4 wickets
Despite being injured, Bumrah performed brilliantly and took 4 wickets. He bowled 23 overs in the innings, giving away 61 runs. Bumrah gave a lot of difficulty to the Australian batsmen in scoring runs, due to which he suffered this pain.
Injury will affect the final of the World Test Championship
Bumrah has so far taken the maximum of 12 wickets in the 3 innings played in this series against Australia, so if Bumrah gets injured, it will impact this series as well as the points table of the World Test Championship.
