PCB should boycott Champions Trophy
Meanwhile, a big statement of former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has come out. He said, “If BCCI boycotts Pakistan, then before that PCB itself should boycott the Champions Trophy.”
‘We are made scapegoats’
Rashid Latif said in an event that Pakistan should clarify its position. He said, “We are always made scapegoats, be it Afghanistan or cricket. PCB and ICC never take a tough stand against BCCI. If India boycotts the Champions Trophy, our position may be weakened. Therefore, Pakistan itself should take a strong decision.”

Champions Trophy can be held on hybrid model
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is also firm on its stand and is continuously saying that the tournament should be held in Pakistan only. However, discussions are currently going on that the tournament can be organized on a hybrid model. There are reports that the final match of the tournament can be held in Dubai.
According to reports, an agreement is being reached between ICC and PCB that a hybrid model should be adopted for organizing global tournaments. Under this model, both Pakistan and India will participate in an ICC tournament at a neutral venue.
