Delhi: Virat Kohli is one of the biggest stars of Indian cricket, and whenever he takes the field, he creates a new record. Kohli made another great record in the third Test match being played between India and Australia at the Gabba Stadium in Brisbane. In this match, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl.

RCB’s star batsman took the team to the final with his stormy innings, good news for Bangalore fans.

Kohli’s entry into Sachin’s club

As soon as Kohli found his place in the playing-11, he made a special achievement in his name. He scored a century while playing his 100th international match against Australia. This is the same century which was earlier scored only by the great batsman Sachin Tendulkar against Australia. Now, Kohli has become the second player to do so, who has scored a century in so many matches against Australia. Sachin had faced Australia in 110 international matches, while in third place after Kohli is Desmond Haynes of West Indies, who has played 97 matches. After this comes MS Dhoni (91 matches) and Vivian Richards (88 matches).

Fans wait for Kohli’s century

Kohli completed this century in Brisbane, but his fans want him to score a century with the bat also. In the last Perth Test match, Kohli had scored a century in his second innings, which was the 30th Test century of his career. With this century he broke Don Bradman’s record of 29 centuries. Although his bat remained silent in the Adelaide Test, now his fans are expecting a century from him in Gabba.
