Delhi: ICC (International Cricket Council) has released the schedule of Champions Trophy 2025 on Tuesday. This time the tournament will be organized on the hybrid model, which will start on February 19 with the match between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi. The final match will be played on 9 March. India will play its first match against Bangladesh on 20 February in Dubai. All India’s matches will be held in Dubai.
Groups and match information
A total of 8 teams will participate in the tournament, which have been divided into two groups.
- Group A: Pakistan, India, New Zealand, Bangladesh
- group b: South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan, England
The match between India and Pakistan will be played in Dubai on 23 February. 15 matches of the tournament will be held in Pakistan and Dubai. Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi will be the three places in Pakistan where the matches will be played. There will be three group matches at each venue. The second semi-final and final will be played in Lahore. However, if India reaches the final, then this match will be held in Dubai. A reserve day has also been kept for the semi-finals and final.
