The report says that these players do not trust the abilities of the young players and are trying to portray themselves as the solution to the team’s problems. However, the name of this player has not been revealed.
Questions on Rohit Sharma’s test future
Rohit Sharma may reconsider his future in Test cricket after the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. India recently faced a clean sweep for the first time in the home Test series against New Zealand. After this, in the Border-Gavaskar series, Rohit did not play the first Test against Australia due to personal reasons, where under the captaincy of Bumrah, India registered a big win by 195 runs. But, after his return, India lost the Adelaide Test. The Gabba Test was drawn due to rain, and then suffered a big defeat in the MCG Test. Now India is behind 1-2 in the series.
Virat can become test captain again
According to reports, Kohli has told the team management that he is willing to take over as captain. Kohli has captained in 68 Test matches, out of which 40 have been won, 17 lost and 11 drawn. His record is on top among the most successful captains of India. So the question arises whether Kohli is ‘Mr. Fix It’ or not?
