Delhi: Pakistan’s Test team captain Shan Masood has said that they will have to develop the habit of playing good cricket and cross the victory line. The left-handed batsman also said that he has full confidence in his team’s abilities.
While addressing a press conference in Cape Town, Shan said, “There are still four seamers in the South African team. They have all-rounders, because of all-rounders South Africa can easily take a decision in the final eleven. I think fast bowlers still have some role to play.”
He said, “Aamir Jamal plays an important role in the Test team, his role at number 8 is very important. Due to the situation of the match in Centurion, he did not get much chance. We took a chance for one over. It didn’t work for us. We hope he bowls more in Cape Town. It doesn’t happen every day that Abbas or any bowler bowls 20 overs continuously.”
Let us tell you that the second Test match of the two-match Test series between Pakistan and South Africa is being played in Cape Town, in which South Africa has won the toss and decided to bat first.
