Delhi: The third season of SA20 is starting from 9 January 2025. This tournament, known as Mini IPL, is expected to be very exciting. The first match of the season will be played between Sunrisers Eastern Cape and MI Cape Town, winners of both the years. Faf du Plessis, captain of Joburg Super Kings, which is owned by Chennai Super Kings, has sent a special message for CSK fans.
‘Great to be back in yellow’
Former CSK player Faf du Plessis expressed happiness on his return to yellow. “It’s great to be back in yellow, they’ve got a huge fan base and incredible support,” he said. Due to being the ownership of Chennai Super Kings, the color of the kit (jersey) of Joburg Super Kings is also yellow.

Delhi Capitals’ share in IPL 2025
In the mega auction of IPL 2025, Faf du Plessis has been bought by Delhi Capitals team for Rs 2 crore. He was the captain of RCB till last season. Before that he was seen playing for CSK.
Joburg Super Kings’ first match in SA20 is against MI Cape Town on 11 January.
