Delhi: Young all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, who performed brilliantly in the Indian cricket team’s tour of Australia, is in the news after returning to India. On his return he was warmly welcomed. After this he went to Tirupati temple and now he has met the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Received reward from Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu

Nitish had won everyone’s hearts with his excellent game in Australia. After this demonstration, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had promised him a reward of Rs 25 lakh. Nitish met him on Thursday and the Chief Minister, fulfilling his promise, handed him the reward cheque.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu shared the picture of this meeting on his official X (formerly Twitter) account. He wrote, “Today met our talented player Nitish Kumar Reddy. Nitish is the pride of the Telugu community and is making India proud at the global level. I appreciate the support of his parents. I hope that he will score more centuries in the future and touch the heights of success.”

Made his mark with a century in the Melbourne Test

Nitish started his Test career in Perth. In the first match, he helped the team in difficult situations, but missed a half-century. However, after missing half-centuries thrice during the series, he scored a brilliant century in the Melbourne Test. This was the first century of his career and he was praised a lot for it.
