Delhi: The Indian team has not shown interest in playing practice matches before the Champions Trophy 2025. Earlier there was a discussion that the Indian team can play practice matches with Bangladesh or UAE so that players can make better coordination with the circumstances of Dubai.
Possibility of practice match from Bangladesh rejected
An ICC official said that since the Indian team will play all their matches in Dubai and the first match will be from Bangladesh, so the Indian team does not want to do practice matches with Bangladesh. Also, the team management has not shown any interest to match any practice from UAE.
India will reach Dubai on 15 February
The officer further informed that after the ODI series ends on February 12 against England, the Indian team will reach Dubai on 15 February and will continue their training there.

Team India matches will be in Dubai
The Champions Trophy will start in Pakistan from February 19, but all other teams other than India and Bangladesh will live in Pakistan. India and Bangladesh have to play the match the next day, so both teams will be in Dubai.

Possibility of practice match ended
