New Zealand won the final by 5 wickets
In the final played at the National Stadium in Karachi, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. However, the New Zealand bowlers kept pressure on Pakistan batsmen from the beginning. Mohammad Rizwan (46) and Salman Aga (45) struggled for a while, while Tayyab Tahir scored 38 runs in 33 balls. The entire team was reduced to 242 runs.
