Delhi: A big news has come out about Team India’s young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal. He is out of the team due to Ankle Injury (ankle injury). First Jaiswal was elected as a third opener in the 15 -member team of India for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. However, when Jasprit Bumrah was out of the tournament, the team changed and Jaiswal’s name did not remain in the final 15. Mystery spinner Varun Chakraborty was included in his place.
Jaiswal had to play for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy after being out of the Champions Trophy. But, now due to injury, he will not be able to play in the Ranji Trophy semi -finals, where Mumbai is to face Vidarbha from Monday.
According to reports, Jaiswal may soon visit BCCI’s Center of Excellence in Bengaluru to assess his injury. However, he is placed as a reserve player (who will not tour with the team) in the Champions Trophy team.
Yashasvi Jaiswal recently made her ODI debut against England. In that match, he got a chance to play in the absence of Virat Kohli. However, Jaiswal was dropped from the team after Kohli’s return. It is known that Jaiswal is not part of the Indian team announced for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
