Rain risk in Kolkata, orange alert issued
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Kolkata, due to which the match is expected to be canceled. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), thunder, electricity and rain are estimated in Kolkata till 22 March due to the antisiclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal. Orange alert has been issued in view of this situation.

Meteorologists told the reason for rain
According to meteorologists, a trough remains from Central Odisha to Vidarbha. Apart from this, air confluence is happening at the lower anger level in the Bay of Bengal. Due to these reasons, the possibility of rain in West Bengal and surrounding areas has increased.
