Delhi: Mahendra Singh Dhoni is called ‘Captain Cool’ for his calm nature, but his anger was seen in a match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019. Recall that during the match played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, there was a no-ball controversy in the last over, where the leg umpire called the full toss ball above the waist. No-ball was not given, due to which Dhoni, who was in the dugout at that time, lost his temper. He entered the field and started arguing with the umpire and this dispute became a topic of discussion.

Dhoni’s former teammate and fast bowler Mohit Sharma spoke openly on this incident on YouTube channel ‘2 Sloggers’. Mohit said, “We were shouting from the dugout, ‘Don’t go, don’t go,’ but Dhoni did not stop. He went in such a way that it seemed as if a lion had entered. He was angry because he had just been out. He asked us, ‘He gave a no-ball, right?’ We confirmed and then he went to argue with the umpire.”

Mohit said it was an unfortunate situation, but also exciting to watch. He said, “The video analyst also saw it and said, ‘It was a no-ball, man,’ but it was not right to change the decision under pressure. “This incident should not have happened, but it was definitely fun to watch.”
