Delhi: The 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) was disappointing for the Gujarat Titans (GT). In the match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Punjab Kings (PBKS) won by defeating Gujarat by 11 runs. After this defeat, Gujarat captain Shubman Gill criticized the team bowlers and mentioned the three overs where his team lost the match.

Gill attributed the bowlers to defeat
After the match, Shubman Gill stated the reason for the defeat and said that the bowlers scored more runs. He said, “We had opportunities in both batting and bowling, but we could not take advantage of them. At the end of the innings, the bowlers gave a lot of runs. Also, in the middle overs we could only score 18 runs in three overs and not too much runs in the first three overs. That is why we lost the match. However, some positive things were also learned from this match.”
Gill praised Vijayakumar Vishak
Gill also praised Punjab Kings Impact Player Vijayakumar Vishak. He said, “It is not easy for any bowler to come and put such a yorker, but he bowled brilliantly. The pitch was good for batting, but he performed well under pressure.”
Vishq landed on the ground in the 15th over and spent just 28 runs in his three overs. Even though he did not get any wicket, he played an important role in saving the match.
