Delhi: There is not much time left for the start of the ICC Champions Trophy. Most of the countries have announced their squads, which includes South Africa. Meanwhile, former South African batsman AB de Villiers has given great news to his fans. AB, popularly known as Mr. 360 Degree, has made a big revelation regarding his return from retirement.
De Villiers said during a conversation in the ‘Running Between the Wickets’ podcast that he can play cricket soon. He said, “I can make a comeback soon. However, nothing has been decided yet. I am not talking about RCB, South Africa or any other competition. I only want to play where I can enjoy cricket.”
De Villiers told that his children are inspiring him to play cricket. He said, “My children are putting pressure on me. I feel that I can enjoy cricket by going to the nets with him. My son bowls from the bowling machine. If I feel good, I might start playing casual cricket. Let me see if this eye (the left one) still works or not but the right eye is absolutely fine.”
The former explosive batsman said that he was inspired by seeing Imran Tahir. He said, “Wherever I play, I will probably ask him to be included in my team. He is one of my favorite players. However, I don’t want to take any major pressure right now. “I just want to play cricket for fun and spend time with the kids.”
