Delhi: Indian opener Abhishek Sharma and mysterious spinner Varun Chakraborty have upheld the number two position in the best rankings of their career. Both these players remain in their place in the latest T20I rankings of ICC.
Hardik Pandya’s first place in all-rounders
Hardik Pandya ranks first in the list of all-rounders with 252 points. He is followed by Deepender Singh Ari (233 points) of Nepal and Marcus Stoinis (210 points) of Australia.
India batsman in top 5
India’s hard-touching batsman Tilak Verma and T20i captain Suryakumar Yadav have made their place in fourth and fifth place respectively.
Ranking of batsmen
Australia’s Travis Head is ranked first in the batsmen list with 856 points. Phil Salat of England is third with 815 points. Abhishek Sharma has 829 points, Tilak Verma has 804 points and Suryakumar Yadav has 739 points.
Bowlers rankings
Akil Hosain of West Indies is ranked first with 707 points in the list of bowlers. Varun Chakraborty is in second place with 706 points, while England’s Adil Rashid (705 marks), Sri Lanka’s Vanindu Hasranga (700 marks) and Australia’s Adam Jampa (694 marks) are number.
Indian bowlers status
Ravi Bishnoi of India is in sixth position with 674 points, while Arshdeep Singh is ranked ninth with 653 points. In recent times, there has been no significant change in the ranking of Indian players, as the Indian team has not played any match after the domestic series against England in January-February.
New Zealand players perform well
New Zealand’s opening pair players Tim Sifart and Finn Ellen have improved their rankings by taking a 2–0 lead against Pakistan.
SIFERT scored 44 runs from 29 balls in the first match and 45 runs from 22 balls in the second match, after which 20 places in his rankings improved and he reached 13th position. Finn Ellen also scored 29 not out from 17 balls and 38 off 16 balls, which improved eight places in his ranking and reached 18th position.
