Delhi: Delhi’s young batsman Priyansh Arya made a tremendous impression in his first innings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) after a brilliant performance in the Delhi Premier League (DPL). Playing for Punjab Kings, he scored 47 runs in just 23 balls at a strike rate of 204 against Gujarat Titans. His innings included 7 fours and 2 sixes. However, he missed a half -century by three runs and was dismissed by Rashid Khan’s brilliant ball.

In the IPL 2025 auction, Priyansh was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 3.8 crore. Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore also wanted to include him in his team, but Punjab Kings took him to his team.
