Will have to bounce back from Perth Test defeat
Carey said, “The Australian team is full of confidence about its excellent record at home with the pink ball. Till now Australia has not lost any day-night test match on its home ground. Our team wants to bounce back from the Perth Test defeat by performing well in this match.”
The wicketkeeper said, “There have been many amazing moments in the history of cricket, but we are not expecting something like that (36 all out) to happen again. Our team has a plan and procedure, which we will try to implement on the field. I did not get a chance to be a part of that Test match (36 runs). But, this time we are very excited. We are confident about our record in pink ball cricket. “We are confident that with our approach we will be able to recover from the Perth defeat.”
The second match of India vs Australia series is to be played in Adelaide from 6th December. This is a pink ball day-night test.
