Delhi: Anaya Bangar, the daughter of former Indian cricketer Sanjay Bangar, has appealed to the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to recognize and support transgender cricketers. He added, “This is not an opinion or imagination, it is a fact. Science says that I am eligible to play women’s cricket. Now the question is – is the world ready to accept the truth?”
