N'Golo Kante Joins Al Ittihad: A New Chapter Begins for the French Midfield Maestro

N'Golo Kante, a top French defensive midfielder, has officially joined Al Ittihad as his contract with Chelsea expires at the end of this month. Kante has agreed to terms with the Saudi club on a three-year contract.

The 32-year-old footballer got a medical examination in Dubai on Tuesday (June 20th), which was finished. Kante then signed the contract, which will tie him down until 2026.

Kante's annual pay at his new club will be 86 million euros (about IDR 1.41 trillion). Kante is Saudi Arabia's newest world-class signing since Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in January.

The 2018 World Cup Champion will now wear the number 7 jersey and return to Jeddah. N'Golo Kante will join fellow countryman Karim Benzema at Al Ittihad to defend the Saudi Arabian League title.

On Twitter, Al Ittihad shared another video of Benzema greeting Kante's arrival. "Hello, N'Golo." I've previously stated that you are the best boxer in the world. Now I'm overjoyed because I'll be playing with you again and on the top team in Saudi Arabia. "See you in Jeddah," the ex-Real Madrid striker added.

N'Golo Kante responded to Benzema's welcome in the same video. "I appreciate your compliment. I'm eager to play alongside you, the finest player in the world, and I'm very excited to play for Al Ittihad. "I'll see you later."

N'Golo Kante joined Al Ittihad after seven years with Chelsea. Kante has made 269 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 13 goals and assisting 16 more, and has helped the Blues win six championships, including the Premier League, FA Cup, Europa League, and Champions League.
