The Indonesian couple gave their all, but ultimately, they fell short in straight sets with scores of 16-21 and 12-21, allowing the Chinese pair to claim the championship title.

On Sunday, the match, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, saw Apriyani and Fadia meeting Chen and Jia for the sixth time. Before this encounter, the Indonesian duo had a 1-4 disadvantage against their Chinese opponents in their previous five encounters.

In the opening set, Apriyani and Fadia made a promising start by securing the first two points. However, a misjudgment by Fadia resulted in a momentum shift in favor of the Chinese pair. Chen and Jia managed to level the score at 4-4 after winning a crucial rally.

Apriyani and Fadia continued to fight for points, but Chen and Jia maintained control of the game. At the second-set interval, the score stood at 11-6 in favor of Chen and Jia.

After the interval, Apriyani and Fadia continued their pursuit. They managed to narrow the gap, including a remarkable 33-shot rally that brought the score to 9-12. Chen and Jia managed to maintain their lead despite their efforts, while Apriyani and Fadia applied pressure, creating a spirited competition on the court.

A back-and-forth exchange of shots took place as Chen and Jia aimed to preserve their lead while Apriyani and Fadia fought tenaciously to catch up.
