Mohamed Salah Tempted by Al Ittihad's Lucrative Offer: Liverpool's Dilemma

In a surprising turn of events, rumors are swirling that Mohamed Salah, the star player of Liverpool, is being courted by Al Ittihad for a possible transfer. The financial might of Saudi Arabian clubs has raised the possibility of Liverpool considering parting ways with their beloved forward.

Al Ittihad has reportedly made an alluring proposition, dangling an eye-watering £105 million (approximately $140 million) for Salah's transfer fee, a staggering figure of around Rp 2.03 trillion. Al Ittihad has also extended an extraordinary salary offer to the Egyptian forward in their quest to seal the deal.

According to circulated reports, Salah could receive an annual salary of $80 million, equivalent to around Rp 1.21 trillion. These speculations, however, were promptly addressed by Liverpool's manager, Juergen Klopp, and Salah's agent, Ramy Ibbas Issa, who dismissed the claims.

Given the departure of key players like Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to Saudi Arabia this summer, Liverpool is expected to resist Salah's departure fiercely. Losing these integral figures has posed significant challenges to the club's roster.

Nevertheless, a former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher, believes the club might not be entirely inflexible. Carragher suggests that if Al Ittihad could table an offer in the ballpark of £150 million, Liverpool might be tempted to consider selling Salah.

"He won't be sold for £100 million, but if the offer creeps up to around £150 million or more, Liverpool might be tempted to let him go," Carragher commented on Sky Sports.

"When talking about £100 million, they shouldn't even discuss his transfer. But for £150 million for a player of his age, you have to consider it," he added.

Salah joined Liverpool in the summer of 2017 and has made an indelible mark. With 307 appearances across all competitions, he has netted an impressive tally of 187 goals and provided 80 assists. His contributions have contributed to seven titles, including a Premier League and a Champions League title.
