"Oops, PSG Ultras Display Derogatory Banner Against Messi at Inter Miami's Home Base"

Florida - Loyalist PSG fans in Florida are still licking their wounds over Lionel Messi. A small group of PSG fans traveled to Miami to unfurl a sarcastic poster aimed at LM10.

Messi had a rocky relationship with the PSG ultras towards the end of his contract at Parc des Princes. Last season, fans protested after La Pulga missed team commitments and flew to Saudi Arabia without permission.

But that's not all – PSG fans also jeered Messi at the stadium when his name was announced in the lineup. The Paris club's ultras even held demonstrations outside the stadium, urging Messi to be shown the door.

It's believed that the PSG ultras are disappointed because Messi couldn't lead the team to success in the Champions League. PSG only reached the round of 16 in the two seasons Messi was part of the team.

The wishes of the PSG ultras came true when Lionel Messi decided to join Inter Miami in the summer of 2023. The Argentine forward left Paris on a free transfer.

Messi spoke about his relationship with the ultras after parting ways with PSG. He mentioned that loyalist fans of Les Parisiens had behaved similarly towards other players like Mbappe and Neymar. He focused on those who showed him respect, as he has always respected everyone since his arrival.

Messi's move to Miami has not freed him from the PSG ultras' grip. This was evident before his debut match in the Major League Soccer on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

PSG ultras unfurled a black banner outside Inter Miami's DRV PNK Stadium. The banner read, 'Messi: Finally Kicked Out the Arrogant One.'

"The Ultras seem to have gone to Miami to put up a banner against Leo Messi, just like they did at Parc to mock Neymar," tweeted the PSG fanbase account, PSGHub.

The mocking banner from the PSG ultras didn't dent Messi's spirits. La Pulga had a perfect MLS debut, contributing a goal to Inter Miami's 2-0 victory over the New York Red Bulls.
